No Homecoming for 2007 in Site

We have not heard anything since paperwork was delivered to U.S. Embassy in Guatemala. We continue to wait...

We took pictures of Madison(L) & Monroe(R) in their Christmas outfits while we were in Guatemala. We left these same outfits so that their foster family could dress them up for the Holidays.

Back Home and Impatiently Waiting

We wanted to bring Madison and Monroe home with us! We will have to wait through the remainder of the paperwork process. The U.S. Embassy is the next hold up; an approval for immigration to the U.S. that should take only a few days has been taking between 40 - 60 days. We will let you all know when we get the U.S. Embassy approval and the paperwork is with USCIS Guatemala for pre-approval. We are hopeful that we will be able to bring them home before April.

Wednesday Brings Sneezes and Fever

Both girls are cutting teeth. They came to us with two bottom front teeth and are working on more. Both have the start of a cold and Madison is running a fever of 101. Sally called the attorney and medicine arrived within the half hour. They both have a doctors appointment at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Even though they were not feeling well they have great dispositions. We are growing sad as our stay is down to one more day. The foster mother is picking them up at noon on Thursday. Our flight home is Thursday at 3:00.

Tuesday and Tired

We are having a blast with Madison and Monroe. They both have great dispositions. We have had fun getting to know their personalities. They both have been cutting teeth, but still they are happy and laughing most of the time. Unfortunately for us, they seem to sleep like a tag team so we are functioning on little or no sleep. Can´t wait for all of you to meet them. Stay tuned for Christmas photos tomorrow...

First Visit

We are in Guatemala with our girls! Sleepless and very happy.
